Born and raised in Homewood, Alabama. Sports have always been a big part of my life. Both my parents were athletes and they passed down their love of fitness and exercise to me. So, I grew up playing all types of sports. After playing football, basketball and baseball at Homewood High School. I continued my athletic career at Troy University where I walked on to the men’s basketball team and played 3 years of D1 basketball there. After my junior year I decided to move on from basketball so that I could focus more on my school work. I transferred to South Alabama in August of 2013 and graduated in December of 2015 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Business.
Before finding my place at Total Fitness Consultants (TFC), I served as a personal 1 on 1 and group fitness trainer at several facilities in the Birmingham area- including the Mountain Brook and Shades Valley YMCA, Orange Theory, Mountain Brook Country Club, and Planet Fitness. At TFC, the 1 on 1 training we provide allows me to use my knowledge, training and background to help my clients meet their fitness goals – whether that is losing weight, improving strength, or training for a specific athletic skill. I specialize in strength and condition and high intensity interval training. I have obtained the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Group Trainer designations and I will continue to seek out the latest and most up to date information available so that I can best help clients meet their fitness goals.
